Lucknow: To give food lovers a taste of Lucknow’s famed Nawabi cuisine and the rich culinary heritage of Awadh, Hometel by Sarovar, Alambagh, is hosting a special food festival titled ‘Jashn-e-Awadh’. The festival will be held from January 12 to January 21, 2026, bringing together iconic Awadhi delicacies under one roof.
During the festival, Hometel’s in-house restaurant ‘Flavours’ will be transformed into a royal court inspired by Nawabi aesthetics. Guests will be treated to an authentic winter menu featuring classics such as Galouti Kebabs, slow-cooked Nihari, aromatic Lucknowi Biryani, and traditional desserts like Shahi Tukda. The highlight of the festival is that all dishes will be prepared using traditional recipes and cooking techniques to preserve the original flavours and aroma of Awadh.

Adding to the immersive experience, the festival will feature elegant traditional décor along with soothing ghazal performances, recreating the charm and grace of old Lucknow evenings. The event has been curated especially for families, offering them a perfect setting to enjoy warm winter nights with fine food and a relaxed, culturally rich ambience.

The ‘Jashn-e-Awadh’ Food Festival will be hosted daily during dinner hours from 7:30 pm onwards at Hometel by Sarovar, Alambagh. It promises to be a memorable culinary journey for the people of Lucknow, blending royal flavours, refined hospitality and the timeless tehzeeb of the city.
